Entry Level Positions

Previous experience as an instructor is a plus but is not required, we provide paid training. You will work under the supervision of an experienced instructor until you are ready to solo.
Classroom & Behind-the-Wheel Instructors
Your Driving School wants to help you become a qualified Driver's Education Instructor. You will teach teens and adults how to drive safely, developing good driving habits that will last a lifetime.

We provide company owned vehicles that are equipped with instructor side brakes and other safety equipment. All instruction materials and lesson plans are provided.

The DPS Requires that Instructors Meet the Following Criteria
- High school education or higher
- 21 years of age or older
- Must pass a background check
- Must have been a valid licensed driver for three years any state
- Must be able to speak and hear well enough to conduct a normal conversation with another at a distance of five feet, with or without a hearing aid.
Getting Your Driver's Education Instructor License
The Department of Public Safety requires instructor applicants to pass a specialized written knowledge test, road test, and a ride along evaluation in order to be licensed as a driver's education instructor.
It sounds like a lot, but we make it much less daunting than it sounds.
We provide paid training and study sessions to help you prepare for the instructor exam, road test and evaluation. Once you are licensed, no more testing! Your license is renewed each year, and there are no additional testing requirements to meet for the renewal.
